Thursby Community Garden, Burnley (in partnership with Calico)
This project will develop tired and run down gardens and promote new areas and implement a central community area for residents to congregate in the summer months. Some drainage work along with barriers to prevent cars illegally driving on the grass is required. Total grant £3750

Peel Close, Blackburn (in partnership with Twin Valley Homes)
This project is to develop an existing playground on an estate, current facilities are well used and local families are very active in the management of the site with TVH officers. Total grant £6,790.

West View, Haslingden (in partnership with Harvest Housing)
The proposed project site is a piece of derelict land, formerly the site of thirty three low rise flats that were demolished in 2004. The Residents Forum approached the land owner to request a community use for the site. The project will completely transform a large derelict piece of land in the heart of the community of West View, Haslingden. Total grant £20,000

Halmote, Higham (in partnership with Housing Pendle)

Higham is very isolated with little to no local services and our elderly customers rely on car usage. There are currently no parking facilities. Consultation has shown that all residents are in favour of a piece of land being used for a small car park. Total grant £8677

Brookhaven Community Association, Preston (in partnership with Community Gateway Association)

The purpose of this project is to design a Guild community garden which would be used by residents. They have already received National Trust funding of £19k as well as £7k from LCC.  Total grant £2500

Talbot Street, Colne (in partnership with Housing Pendle)

This bid is to develop a piece of disused land into a play area for local children from the estate. The area will have heightened fencing to ensure privacy for the surrounding houses and to avoid the football being kicked over. Total grant £900

Boothman Place, Nelson (in partnership with Housing Pendle)

This project is to generate more parking places at Boothman Place in Nelson by building 6/7 extra parking places on the grassed area by the bungalows. The residents have been consulted and have agreed to this work being done. Total grant £7000

Riverway, Barrowford (in partnership with Housing Pendle)

A bid has been received from local residents to renovate a grot spot in the area of Riverway in Barrowford. This would include rebuilding/making good of planting beds, seating, outdoor drying area, bin stores and low maintenance garden. Total grant £5000

North Valley Residents Association, Colne (in partnership with Housing Pendle)

This project is to renovate a patch of land into a community and memorial garden. A 15 year lease has been signed with the land owners and work will be done to create raised flower beds, a barbecue cabin and paved area. Total grant £9625

Brunshaw Estate, Burnley (in partnership with Calico)

An application was received towards covering the front of 4 untenanted shops on Brunshaw Estate that have been subject to vandalism and graffiti. Calico is working with a locally based artist and running two consultation and design sessions for all members of the community. Total grant £2950

Delph Lane, Blackburn (in partnership with Twin Valley Homes)

This project is to to refurbish an existing playground. Consultation has taken place with residents showing they wanted some investment in their playground and a safe place for their children to play. Total grant £10,000

Lincoln Road, Blackburn (in partnership with Twin Valley Homes)

Tenants have requested a secure garden area with separate utility area, including a paved seating area with a planter and new fencing and gate. Total grant £7400

Mayfield Flats, Darwen (in partnership with Twin Valley Homes)

This project is to create a secure, external communal drying area, including new fencing and a secure gate. Total grant £8567
