Every year we will support 1 micro non-traditional contractor
We will provide support to local non-traditional contractors looking to establish themselves in the community who otherwise might not be in a position to provide services to clients. This support will equip them with the skills and business acumen needed to enable them to effectively tender and win future work.
We will also facilitate placement with our current contractors for these non-traditional contractors help build skills further and assist in ensuring a healthy order book. Through this process we will encourage the growth and recruitment of new employees into these businesses.
When the time comes for these companies to tender for Lancashire Housing Partnership contracts we will invite them to one of our 'Meet the Customer' days where we will explain and demystify the OJEU process enabling them to successfully tender for contracts.
