About Lancashire Housing Partnership

Lancashire Housing Partnership (LHP) is a regeneration company limited by guarantee i.e. not for profit. It is a consortia of social housing providers with stock in Lancashire. This includes Calico, Community Gateway, Harvest Housing, Housing Pendle, Hyndburn Homes and Twin Valley Homes. The LHP board consists of the Chief Executives/ Executive Directors and very senior management, within member organisations.

In LHP housing providers work together in a new way to support each other, improve local communities, regenerate businesses and invest in the future skills of the local workforce.

LHP members benefit from collective purchasing of construction materials and contracting of work, sharing best practice, delivering best value and saving time and money through not having to carry out their own tendering processes.

Savings are made which then get invested back into local training, employment, communities and business to develop sustainable communities and long term social and economic benefits. This is not simply about money and cost savings - it's about investment in skills and local communities. LHP is a vehicle for regeneration and dedicated to the aim of creating changes. There is a strong commitment from the Board to make a dfiference.
